Paul McCartney talks about using LSD on June 19, 1967

On June 19th of 1967 Paul McCartney of the Beatles admitted to using LSD during an interview with Life Magazine. Although McCartney was actually the last member of The Beatles to use LSD he was the first to talk about using LSD in public.

The Beatles music of the time (specifically Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour) seems to be influenced by their use of LSD.
