The Beatles Movie A Hard Day's Night Made It's Debut On July 6, 1964
The Beatles movie A Hard Day's Night premiered on July 6th of 1964 in the UK. It was released just over a month later on August 11th in the United States.
The movie was joined by an album by the same name which was released on July 10th. The A Hard Day's Night album is the only Beatles album to contain only Lennon/McCartney originals this is because most of their other early albums contained some cover songs and their later albums had songs by George Harrison (and to a lesser extent Ringo Starr) as well.
