The 4 Beatles Were In Abby Road Studios For The Last Time On August 20, 1969

The four Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, & Ringo Starr) were together in Abbey Road studios for the very last time on August 20th of 1969. 38 years ago today.

On this day they completed the final mix for "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and worked on the running order for Abbey Road. "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" would be placed as the 6th & final song on Side A of the LP.

The song was never performed live by The Beatles.
