The Beatles began filming the Magical Mystery Tour film on September 11th of 1967. It would premier on UK TV on December 26, 1967.
The accompanying LP would be released on November 27th in the US featuring new songs and some singles that had been released over the last 12 months but which had not yet been featured on an album.
