Diddy Was Born On November 4, 1969

Diddy was born as Sean John Combs on November 4th of 1969 in Missouri.

Diddy is a successful record producer and rapper and an even more successful business man (his net worth is estimated at over $300 million.) Diddy is his current performing name but he was previously known as P. Diddy and before that Puff Daddy. He has had his biggest hits thus far under the name Puff Daddy.

Combs was already known as a music promoter and producer when he came out with his first album of his own 1997's No Way Out. It went straight to #1 in the US with sales of over 500,000 copies in the first week.

The recently deceased Notorious B.I.G. appeared on four tracks.

No Way Out featured the #1 US singles "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" which featured Ma$e & and "I'll Be Missing You" which was about The Notirious B.I.G. as Combs had worked with The Notorious B.I.G. on his albums. The album also included the #2 US singles "It's All About The Benjamins" & "Been Around The World." The album won the Best Rap Album Grammy in 1998.

While his albums since then have done well commercially (all selling at least one million copies in the US and reaching at least #2 on the US album charts) they have not reached the same level of success as his debut.

K.D. Lang Was Born On November 2, 1961

K.D. Lang was born Kathryn Dawn Lang on November 2nd of 1961 in Canada.

Lang is known professionally as a country music singer-songwriter. She is also known for some aspects of her personal life as she is an animal rights vegetarian and a lesbian (she "came out" in 1992.)

Her most commercially successful album to date in the US and the UK has been 1992's Ingenue which charted at #18 in the US and #3 in the UK. It also charted #13 in her home country of Canada, #3 in Australia, and #1 in New Zealand.

She's probably best known for 1992 song "Constant Craving" which was written by Lang and Ben Mink and included on the aforementioned album Ingenue. The song won Lang a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance in 1993.

The Rolling Stones' 1997 single "Anybody Seen My Baby" was musically similar to "Constant Craving." Once the Stones realized this similarity they willingly (without a court battle) added Lang and Mink as co-authors of the song.

Below is the music video for "Constant Craving"
