Atoms For Peace
By Marvin Marks on Mar 11, 2010 in Music News
OK, this isn’t very up to date “news” since it was first on Radiohead.com on February 25th but just in case you’re like me and you go out of the loop on occasion I thought I would share that Thom Yorke is going on tour with the band he played all of The Eraser with last year (click here for the post on that) and they’ve also named the previously unnamed band.
The band is to be called Atoms for Peace which is also the title of my favorite song on The Eraser.
Besides Yorke the other members of the band are Flea (bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers), Nigel Godrich (producer for Radiohead, Beck, Paul McCartney, and others), Joey Waronker (percussionist for Beck, Elliot Smith, and others), and Mauro Refosco (percussionist with bands like Forro in the Dark and They Might Be Giants.)
Click Here for the tour dates in April in New York, Boston, Chicago, Oakland, Santa Barbara, and Indio.
