Two notes: (1) I’m only considering bands/artists that [...]

Continuing my new picking whatever I want to do next approach to the Beatles songs series; today’s song is “Rain.” Yes, I’m really picking up steam. After waiting 9 months between “Hold Me Tight” to “And I Love Her” I’ve waited only 13 days to get to “Rain.” At this rate I may even finish [...]

Recently it has come to my attention that I seem to be in the minority among Radiohead fans when it comes to my favorite tracks from the band’s 2007 album In Rainbows. My favorite five tracks from the ten track album (not considering the bonus disc at the moment) definitely include “15 Step,” “Bodysnatchers,” “All [...]

Check out this hour long wah-wah pedal documentary titled Cry Baby: The Pedal That Rocks The World. It includes the history of the pedal (invented in 1966) and how it works. There’s lots of great interviews of guitarists who use wah wah pedals and the people who were involved with the creation of the first [...]

Thom Yorke, Burial, & Four Tet have collaborated on two new recordings and they are available on the interwebs now: “Ego” “Mirror” On my first listen; “Mirror” strikes me in particular. Pretty wicked track. I’m looking forward to hearing these tracks in full quality in the right space.
