I’ve recently come across Bandcamp.com and I’m impressed with the service it provides for artists/bands (and for music fans for that matter.)

It lets bands sell their music as downloads so that the bands themselves keep all of the profit from those sales. Screw the record labels. It’s the artists that should be making money from selling their songs and albums.

It also allows bands to have a very cool interactive relationship with their fans. Check out the video on the site for more info, it’s really cool.
