“Don’t Be Light” - Air
By Marvin Marks on Jun 13, 2008 in Retro Reviews
“Don’t Be Light” is possibly my favorite song from what is definitely my favorite Air album; 2001’s 10,000 Hz Legend.
I’d like to tell you why I like it so much but I’m not very good at that sort of thing, and speaking of that; We are looking for blog contributers. If you can use WordPress (or you think you can figure out how to use WordPress, it’s not that complicated) then you are invited to join: Send your “resume” to MusicByDayAdmin@GMail.com
The album version is over 6 minutes long. The version you can hear in the video below is only 3 minutes long. But you can still get a good idea of the groovyness of the song. It does chop out the whole weird middle bit (guest starring Beck’s spoken word biz.)
