EarMaster Pro Ear Training Software isn’t exactly “gear” in the way people normally think of it but it seems like the best category to put it, anyway.

I’ve been using this software over the last few weeks and it seems to be working really well. My ear is improving. I’ve actually tried many other ear training approaches before but I don’t think any of them are as effective as this.

What makes it so effective is the “interactive feedback” and the way it slowly gets more and more difficult. This helps you master the easier things and then work towards the more difficult. In all there are over 650 different lessons in this software, so it’s not something you’ll just run right through and be done with. It’s something you can work with for a long time and if you do manage to master the entire thing – you will have a truly golden ear.

I won’t get into all of the reasons you should want to do ear training, if you’re reading this you probably already know how important it is for anyone who wants to be a musician, songwriter, singer, etc.
