Singer-songwriter Hoyt Axton was born on March 25th of 1938 in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Axton is most well known for the songs he has written that were made famous by other artists/bands such as “Joy to the World” & “Never Been to Spain” (which were both made famous by the rock band Three Dog Night.)
