John Paul Jones was born as John Baldwin on January 3rd of 1946 in England.
He is most well known as the bass guitarist, keyboardist, and occasional mandolin player for the hugely successful rock band Led Zeppelin. He has also released four solo albums to date and worked with numerous other bands & artists such as Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., Heart, Brian Eno, and Foo Fighters.
