Do you love to share your opinion on music? Do you post about music on your Last.FM journal on a music forum or on your personal blog wishing that more people would read what you post? Here's your chance to write about the music you love (and hate) and have a lot of people read what you write. Send an email to MusicByDayAdmin@GMail.com with a sample of your music writing. If you qualify you will be sent login information so that you'll be able to post on the site along with all of the guidelines for posting on the site.

You can also take part in the optional AdSense sharing program. If you decide to join AdSense all you'll have to do to take part is put your AdSense publisher ID into your account. If you do take part you'll make 75% of the of the AdSense income made by YOUR posts. So the better your posts do the more money you'll make!

Once you get your AdSense code you can place it in your author account. How do you find out what your AdSense code is? Go to your AdSense account and go to the My Account link at the top. Then scroll down to the bottom. You'll "Property Information" and below that "Adsense for Content" next to that is your AdSense code. It'll look like this "ca-pub-######" - forget about the ca part. just copy the pub-#####. Where do you put this code in your Music By Day account? You go into your account (Log In) and you'll see a place to insert your AdSense code ("My AdSense"). Just paste it there. Remember - do not include the ca, it may cause your account to not track properly.
Music Forum
We'll be using the music forum to communicate with all of the contributers and to do things like sign up to review certain new albums (only one author can review any particular new album so we must decide who reviews what album.) The "music views" section is only visable if you are given a certain status - so please email with your forum name so you can be given that so that you can be given that status and you'll be able to see this part of the forum.

Author Photo
The author photo should be 80x80 but you can email any square (or square-ish) picture and I can resize it for you. This photo will be seen at the bottom of each post you make. You can also write that little blurb there in your profile where it says "about this user" thats where you place that blurb. Take into account that it'll say your name... so You don't have to say your name again in the blurb.
