Last.FM’s Best of 2009 Top Ten

Last.FM has released their “best of 2009” top ten albums released from October 1, 2008 through November 19, 2009. The chart is is based on which albums’ songs have had the most “scrobbles.” Live albums and greatest hits compilations are not included.

Here’s the top ten:

#10 Kanye West – 808s and Heartbreak – 6.6 million
#09 Yeah Yeah Yeahs – Fever to Tell – 6.8 million
#08 Green Day – 21st Century Breakdown – 7.6 million
#07 Animal Collective – Merriweather Post Pavilion – 7.6 million
#06 Beyonce – I Am… Sasha Fierce – 8.6 million
#05 Franz Ferdinand – Tonight – 8.8 million
#04 The Prodigy – Invaders Must Die – 8.9 million
#03 Lily Allen – It’s Not Me, It’s You – 10.5 million
#02 The Killers – Day & Age – 12.5 million
#01 Lady GaGa – The Fame – 18.5 million
