A new Michael Jackson single will be unveiled on October 12th on his official website. The song is titled “This Is It” and it features backing vocals by his brothers.

The song will be included on a new compilation album being released on October 27th. It closes out disc 1 one of the double disc set. The rest of the songs are the original versions (not new versions) of well known hit songs like “Billie Jean” and “Thriller.”

Disc 2 includes demo versions of “Beat It,” “Wanna Be Startin’ Something,” and “She’s Out Of My Life” and a spoken word poem titled “Planet Earth.” You can buy this new compilation album on Amazon.

The release of this new compilation album (featuring this new song) coincides with the release of the This Is It movie which is coming out on October 28th (that’s Tuesday night at midnight.)
