New Radiohead Song: “These Are My Twisted Words”
By BrainFace on Aug 12, 2009 in Music News
Check it out:
This is a new Radiohead song that’s leaked onto the internet. There’s no word from the band yet as far as whether it’s going to be released officially in the future (as a single, on an EP, or on an album.)
There are rumors that the band leaked the song to the internet themselves & the information file included with the “leak” says the release date is “Monday, August 17″ – Could there be a surprise in store for August 17th? Is this the band’s way of releasing a “single” in 2009? To be clear, this is all baseless conjecture. That’s what I specialize in.
How about the song? After listening to it for a couple of times I quite like it. I particularly like all of the little edits with the guitars during the first couple of minutes. The vocal bit hasn’t really caught my interest too much yet (but perhaps it will with time.) The guitar atmospherics are really great though. It has a sort of spacey krautrock vibe that I’m really digging.

I’ve just downloaded this and the mp3 sounds much better than the YouTube video … I suppose that’s obvious. But yeah, don’t judge the song by the YouTube video because with something like this the sound is very important (the atmospherics really kick ass with the 320 mp3.)
