I just came across a couple of OK Go’s music videos that I thought were so groovy I had to share them here. It’s quite rare for me to be excited by any music video but these are something different from the norm.

The first is for “WTF?” and features some rather insane special effects that you’re better off just seeing for yourself rather than having me try to describe them. CLICK HERE to see it.

The second is for “This Too Shall Pass” which is a “one take” video just like their famous treadmill video for “Here It Goes Again” from 2006 (and which now has close to 50 million views total.) It features a huge amount of “extras” mostly from the Notre Dame marching band. Like with the video for “WTF?” it can’t really be adequately explained easily, so just watch it. CLICK HERE to see it.

Both of these songs are on the band’s new album Of The Blue Colour Of The Sky which was released yesterday. It’s their first album in about 4 and a half years (since 2005′s Oh No was released.)

This album was produced by Dave Friddman who is known for his work with The Flaming Lips & MGMT.
