Paul Rodgers was born on December 17th of 1949 in England.
Rodgers first gained rock n roll fame as a singer & songwriter for the band Free in 1968. In 1970 Free had a huge hit with the song “All Right Now” which Rodgers co-wrote with the band’s bassist Andy Fraser.
Rodgers’ next band was Bad Company which was formed in 1973. He was with the band through 1982. They had a number of hit singles including “Can’t Get Enough,” “Movin’ On”, “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” & “Rock N Roll Fantasy.” Rodgers rejoined the band from 1998 to 2002.
Beginning in 2004, Rodgers has been performing with the remaining members of Queen as Queen + Paul Rogers (they are billed this way to make it clear that they do not consider Rodgers to be a replacement for original Queen singer, Freddie Mercury who died in 1991.)
