This Pheonix performance on NPR went up on May 18th, but I just came across it today and I wanted to share it with our readers here.

It’s a four song (“Lisztomania,” “Armistice,” “1901,” for their debut album and Air’s “Playground Love” from the Virgin Suicides soundtrack) acoustic set that lasts 12 minutes.

The really cool thing about this performance (and I assume it’s like this for all of the Tiny Desk Concert series, I need to check it out) is that it’s a very intimate thing. That the singer isn’t singing into a mic really drives that home.
