Cat Stevens was born as Steven Demetre Georgiou on July 21, 1948 in London.
In the late 1960s and into the 1970s, Stevens had many hits as a singer-songwriter. Among his biggest hits were “Wild World,” “Father and Son,” “Peace Train,” “Morning Has Broken,” “The First Cut Is The Deepest,” & “Moon Shadow.””
