The Flaming Lips Cover Pink Floyd’s Dark Side Of The Moon
By Marvin Marks on Oct 16, 2009 in Music News
The follow-up to The Flaming Lips new album, Embryonic, is going to be a cover of Pink Floyd’s 1973 classic album Dark Side of the Moon according to this story from LA Times.
Apparently they’ve already finished recording it (with help from a band named Stardeath and White Dwarfs that I don’t know anything about just yet besides that the lead singer is Wayne’s nephew) Henry Rollins and Peaches apparently made guest appearances (I’m trying hard to imagine what Henry Rollins role was.)
According to this report the album will probably only be available for download purchase, not on CD.
