Umekichi ~ The Voice of Geisha Doll

null

So, what up exactly…You think you are better than I? Well, you are, English, you truly are. Dig this, ever wanted to hear authentic Japanese Folk Music in a relatively modern context with a slight Eastern Folk influence? Well, have ya? It is probably a situation where you can’t even comprehend my words, gentle and curious soul. Umekichi is greatly talented and wildly trained on her instrument of choice, the shamisen! Yummy! Yum-yum, huh… right, hun? Three strings on a shamisen, absolutely no question. The Voice of Geisha Doll then introduces your thoroughly retarded ears to her fantastical splendor and lady-like manner and gentle musical decor. I would accept some doilies from this woman and wrap them around my butt-cheek and giggle gently in the warm glow of a Japanese evening, that cool island nation with the opposite of the Eskimo aesthetic.

This is great music for meditation or fondling ones lover in a highly manipulative manner, whatever your thing is, let Umekichi’s The Voice of Geisha Doll be the soundtrack. Now going back to my philosophy of using the voice as musical instrument, look no further than Umekichi. She’s a super lady. The art form of the Geisha is entirely complex, and not something I can really delve into as some sort of pseudo intellectual in the context of an album review, or if you will, outsider art computer scribbling. There is a fondness and longing to this music, as if it is from centuries ago and hundreds of years into the future as well. I give you the advice of buying this, and soon.

Thank you.
