This isn’t exactly a “gear review” but that seems like a reasonable category to put this. I was just browsing Amazon looking at effects plug-ins for using in my home recording studio when I came across the Waves Mercery TDM Software bundle which costs over $10,000.

I am familiar with some of Waves plugins and I know they are of high quality, but Hubert Christ! That’s a hell of a lot of money to spend on plug-ins. I guess this is the kind of money professional studios spend on stuff like this though. But I’m not sure how any home recording dude (or dudette) would be able to afford such a price tag.

What’s in the bundle? It includes over 200 plugins and 91 processors. Pretty much every kind of effect you have ever heard of is included (delays, distortions, reverbs, guitar amp emulators, compressors, flangers, phasers, voice correction… etc.) It’s got about everything you could possibly need.
